Petro Geyl, Innov8’s Sales Director, is no stranger to the hunt for great real estate software. His previous experience with CRMs can be summed up in one word: frustrating. So frustrating, in fact, that after trying a couple, he ditched the lot and went back to basics: Microsoft Outlook.
Sure, it feels familiar and it has basic calendar, email and contact management functionality. But Microsoft Outlook wasn’t designed for real estate agents. Innov8 needed something that was going to bolster their growing business (and revenue), and help them keep in regular contact with their client database.
In Petro’s own words, “and then Rex popped along, and it was really a no brainer!”
It was the ease of use that initially attracted Petro to Rex. “If I’m thinking real estate sales, I need things that are easy to use,” he says.
And what could be easier than setting up a few month’s worth of reminders in one fell swoop?
Petro’s been attaching Tracks, Rex’s predefined lists of best practice follow-up activities, to his contact and listings records, making it incredibly easy to remember what he needs to do, when, to give his clients a memorable service.
And that’s not the only thing that’s changed since Innov8 started working with Rex.
Pocket’s been a real game-changer for Petro, saving his team hours of double data entry and stopping anything important from slipping through the cracks.
“The mere act of remembering what I had to do when I came back to the office was a drama… I used to carry a log sheet of calls and notes when I was out of the office, and then come back and transfer it all,” he says.
If you ask Petro what he thinks about Rex, his answer is simple. “There’s nothing to think about - just get on board!”
